Postdoctoral position at INSERM Marseille

INSERM is  looking for a highly motivated Ph.D. with substantial AAV expertise. Our targeted gene therapy team at Aix-Marseille University is developing cutting-edge strategies to treat mouse models of Rett syndrome. Rett syndrome is a severe neurological disorder caused by mutations of the MECP2 (Methyl CpG binding protein 2) gene, located on the X chromosome. The posdoc would play a pivotal role in this team by designing new AAV vectors as well as developing innovative approches  to target the brain. The AAV vectors generated will be used to correct/cure the « Rett Syndrome » phenotype in mouse models. In vivo phenotyping and molecular/cellular évaluations will be performed.
