The 2024 Theme Day and Workshop for the SFTCG took place from 21-22 March in a two-day event at La Cité des Congrès in Nantes.
This Academy-type programme, including one mentoring talk, gave eight students the opportunity to present their work on any topic as long as it fell under the gene and cell therapy umbrella.
The workshop took place on 21 March and was free of charge for SFTCG student members and was available to attend either on its own or combined with the Theme Day which was held on 22 March.
Students could submit an abstract for this Academy day on any topic as long as it was gene and cell therapy related. The top eight abstracts were selected, regardless of the categories. Of course abstracts in gene editing or cell therapy were more likely to be selected for the Theme Day rather than for the Academy.
