Elvir Becirovic

Elvir Becirovic is Professor of Experimental and Translational Ophthalmology at the University of Zurich/University Hospital Zurich. His research focuses on the development and functional evaluation of novel approaches or technologies for the treatment of inherited retinal dystrophies in animal models. In collaboration with industry partners, Elvir Becirovic is working on the translation of preclinical work into clinical trials.
