Maria Ester Bernardo

Dr Bernardo is responsible for the Pediatric Transplant Unit and is Allogeneic Transplant Coordinator of the Pediatric Immunohematology Unit, San Raffaele Scientific Institute.  At SR-TIGET, she is Group Leader and Clinical Coordinator of the Pediatric Clinical Research Unit and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University Medical School, Milan.

She is PI of an ex-vivo gene therapy Phase I/II trial for patients affected by Hurler Syndrome and co-author of >100 peer-reviewed articles.
