B Bonamassa

Dr. B.Bonamassa is an executive biologist at the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA), serving as quality assessors for biological medicines with emphasis on ATMPs and as the Italian Alternate Member at the CAT. She is also a quality assessor for biotherapeutics within the WHO Prequalification Team – Medicines Assessment Team (PQT/MED). In the past, her research focus was the study of gene expression regulation, the development of viral/non-viral gene delivery techniques as well as the identification of genes that code for therapeutic proteins and the illustration of their mechanisms of action.
