Nicole Déglon

Prof. Déglon received her training at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She has held several research positions at the Lausanne Gene Therapy Center, the Salk Institute in San Diego, and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), France, where she developed gene therapy approaches for neurodegenerative diseases. In 2011, she was appointed Associate Professor at the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV). Prof. Déglon's research interests include the development of genetic models of neurodegenerative diseases, the study of the mechanisms involved in these diseases and the development of therapeutic strategies.
