Dr Androulla Eleftheriou

(Executive Director of Thalassaemia International Federation.

Past Board Member of IAPO, EPHA and ESTM and a President of the Cyprus Alliance of Rare Disorders)

Dr Eleftheriou graduated with degrees in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Virology, and Business Administration from London Universities. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the CDC in the USA. She previously served as the Head of the Virus Reference Centre of the Cyprus Ministry of Health and Director of the Cyprus thalassaemia WHO Collaborating Centre of the Cyprus Ministry of Health. She has published extensively and is a contributing author of position papers and Guidelines.
