Annette Künkele

Prof. Annette Künkele is professor for CAR T cell therapies and senior attending physician at the Dep. of Ped. Oncology and Hematology at Charité Berlin. Her current research focuses on identifying novel CAR targets as well as hurdles preventing CAR T cell success against solid tumors. In addition to her clinical duties, she is responsible for the pediatric immunotherapy program, establishing a GMP-conform process to generate CAR T cells and conducting early phase clinical trials.
