Klaus Kuhlcke

Klaus Kühlcke recently retired from the position of Managing Director at BioNTech IMFS GmbH in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. BioNTech IMFS, a subsidiary of BioNTech SE in Mainz, Germany, manufactures RNA and cell based therapeutics for its mother company and provides contract development and manufacturing services for cell- and gene therapy. Dr. Kühlcke has been with the company since its foundation in 1997. Prior to joining the company Dr. Kühlcke worked at the Heinrich-Pette-Institut in Hamburg, Germany, where he focused on the use of retroviral vectors as tools for basic and applied science.
