For more than 20 years I have been involved in the search for therapeutic solutions based on advanced therapies and in the development of faithful models for genodermatoses.

In recent years, our focus has been on the development and translation of therapies based on gene editing, mainly for Epidermolysis bullosa.

I am autor of more than 100 Pubmed indexed publications, member of Spanish and European societies of Cell and gene Therapy and currently member of the Medical and Scientific advisory panel of DEBRA International (EB patient association).
