Peter Marinkovich

Dr Marinkovich completed research/residency training in Portland Oregon under Dr. Robert Burgeson, assisting in the discovery of type VII collagen and laminin-332 and elucidating the molecular defects of dystrophic and junctional epidermolysis bullosa. After joining the faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine, his group has focused on basement membrane biology and gene transfer methodology, most recently bringing three dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa gene therapy programs from preclinical to phase 3 levels.
