I am Biochemist by education with +17 years of experience in regulatory affairs and quality assurance in the pharma/biotech industry and CRO business. I am now for more than 14 years with Gilead in the German affiliate and currently the local regulatory lead for cell therapy and oncology. I was heavily involved in the launches of Gilead/Kite’s EU approved CAR T cell therapies in Germany and in facilitating access for patients from a regulatory as well as a quality and distribution point of view. Thereby I could develop a profound understanding of the challenges and hurdles for access to advanced therapeutics for patients with rare, life-threatening diseases. Finding paths to overcome these obstacles is what drives me.
