Pablo Menendez

Pablo Menendez was trained in hematology and bone marrow transplantation (1997-2002, University of Salamanca) and in stem cell biology (2002-2006 ar U Western Ontarios, Canada, and ICR, London, UK). currently holds an ICREA Research Professor at the Josep Carreras Leukemia Research Institute in Barcelona. His lab strives to understand the developmental origin of pediatric acute leukemias using multidisciplinary genetic, epigenetic technologies as well as mouse models and stem cell systems. In addition, his lab is developing improved immunotherapies for acute leukemia, including both MoAb-based and immunocheckpoint-based therapies as well as CAR T-cell adoptive cell therapies.
