Valentina Poletti

Valentina Poletti is Assistant Professor at University of Padova and group leader at the City of Hope Research Institute (Padua, Italy). Scientist between basic and applied science, she has been working in ex vivo GT for more than 15 years in Italy, France (Genethon) and USA (Dana Farber/Harvard University), applied to multiple genetic diseases of skin, blood and LSDs. Her laboratory is focused on the development of innovative GT strategies for hemoglobinopathies and neurometabolic diseases.
