Karl Rouger

Karl Rouger is a cell biologist, INRAE DR and Deputy Director of Unit 703 PAnTher. His research focuses on stem cell biology and muscle diseases. His work aims to purify cells with distinct myogenic commitments and to analyse their possible use as innovative therapeutic agents. He has developed a translational research program in regenerative medicine dedicated to characterising a type of adult stem cell known as MuStem cells in the context of muscular dystrophies.
