Frederic Thalheimer

Frederic Thalheimer Studied Biochemistry at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. He finished is PhD at the Georg-Speyer-Haus and the Hematology department at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany working on the manipulation, expansion of Hematopoistic Stem cells (HSC) and the mechanism of self-renewal in HSCs and Acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Since 2016 he is working at the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut in Langen, Germany. His Focus is on the receptor targeted transduction of individual cell types, mainly hematologic cells, within a population of different cells. One task is to manipulated hematologic cells to exert curative functions, like generating saver CAR-T cells.
