Maria Themeli

Dr Themeli is Assistant Professor of the department of Hematology at Amsterdam University Medical Centers-location VUmc. Her current research is focused on two related topics: 1. the use of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) as an off-the-shelf source of therapeutic CAR T cells and 2. improving safety and efficacy of CAR T cell therapy for hematological malignancies and solid tumors.
