Cesar Trigueros Fernandez

Dr. César Trigueros is the Chief Scientific Officer at

Viralgen. He is responsible for overseeing the scientific

operations of the company, including applied research

projects, as well as the development of new processes,

technologies and products.

César obtained his Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and

Molecular Biology from Autonomous University of

Madrid and conducted his post-doctoral research in

immunology at the Cancer Research UK. Over 25 years

of leadership experience in both Academic and

biotechnology field with special interest in cell and

gene therapy. Prior to Viralgen, he has been leading

several cell and lentivirus advance therapies

companies linking and designing manufacturing

processes to clinical trials.
